The Ashton Classic 898 cigar began as a collaboration between owner Robert Levin and the Dominican Republic’s Fuente Family in 1912. After 20 years, Ashton Cigars has become one of the premier cigar manufacturers and is recognized internationally for its quality and consistency.
This cigar is medium to mild-bodied, made with 4-year-old Dominican fillers and high-quality Connecticut Shade Wrapper Leaves. From the first draw, you will taste creamy and nutty notes with cedar and cinnamon becoming apparent. There are also hints of spice that appear as you proceed through the cigar. This cigar measures 6 1/2″ long and has a 44 ring gauge.

The 898’s are a great product. I order 2-3 boxes annually and haven’t had a bad one yet!
However, for the second time in 12 months, my cigars were shipped to the wrong address! Nick’s quickly sent a replacement box to the correct address so that was good, but the shipping dept may need a little review….
