Undergrown Gordito
The Undercrown Gordito is a popular cigar amongst the cigar rollers of Drew Estate. In early 2009, Drew Estate asked its torcedores to smoke fewer Liga Privada cigars because there were not enough to be exported. While this request left them disappointed, it sparked an idea to blend their own signature liga. The result was the Undercrown, a cigar that was built to stand on its own and not just as a substitute.
Wrapped in a San Andres Maduro wrapper, this cigar features a blend of Brazilian Mata Fina and Nicaraguan long fillers. From the first draw, expect notes of black coffee, dark chocolate, leather, earth, and pepper in a medium- to full-bodied smoke. This cigar is made of rare tobaccos, but of different vintages and primings.
