Rocky Patel 55 Toro cigars were launched in 2016 and crafted to celebrate mastermind Rocky Patel’s 55th birthday. They ranked #7 in the Top 25 Cigars of the Year in 2017 and received a 93-rating from Cigar Aficionado. While its tough to compare all of Rocky Patel’s cigars, this is believed to be one of the best blends on the market!
These top-shelf cigars are part of Rocky’s “Artisan” series. Each cigar is rolled by hand at Rocky’s factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. They feature a reddish brown Nicaraguan wrapper leaf with Costa Rican binder and Nicaraguan long-filler. Upon lighting, you’ll taste flavors of creamy chocolate, cinnamon, with slight oak, pepper, cedar, leather.
What’s cool about these cigars is that they all feature a 55 ring gauge and are tapered on both ends. They vary in lengths. The Toro is 6.5 inches long. Regardless of if you’re new to premium cigars or a seasoned RP fan, this series is sure to delight!
