Plasencia Alma Del Fuego Candente is a cigar that pays tribute to the volcanic soil of Ometepe Island in Nicaragua.  This area is known for its rich nutrients that produce exceptional tobacco.

The name “Alma Del Fuego” means “Soul of Fire” in Spanish.  This name reflects the essence of this cigar being born from the sun and volcanoes of Nicaragua.  It is created in the famous Plasencia factory, known for growing some of the best tobacco on the planet.

This Nicaraguan puro is a medium-full-bodied cigar. The cigar features satiny, sun-grown wrappers from Jalapa Valley.  The wrapper offers a sweet character that complements the spicy, nutty, and citrus notes of the blend. Aged for seven years, the Ometepe tobaccos used in the cigar’s binder enhance the unique qualities of the volcanic soil. The cigar is finished with a closed foot.

Given a 92-point rating from Cigar Aficionado, it is described as box-pressed with an open draw.  The Alma Del Fuego Candente delivers spicy and woody smoke. As it burns, hints of coffee, fruit, and cloves add to its sweet finish.

Available in three sizes – Candente (5″ x 50), Concepcion (6″ x 54), and Flama (6 1/2″ x 38).  The Candente is available only in 10-count boxes for $139.95
