Rocky Patel Number 6 Robusto was named the best Honduran Cigar of the Year in 2020 by Cigar Journal. Additionally, Cigar Aficionado gave this series a 95-rating and ranked it #9 in their 2020 Cigar of the Year list. This crowd pleaser appeals to mild and fuller bodied cigar lovers! Reviewers have noted that it has “a cohesive flavor profile that unfolds in tasty layers of vanilla, cocoa, orange peel and black pepper before finding harmony in the spicy, nutty finish.”

This cigar is mild to medium-bodied and on the sweeter side, a feature we don’t see often from Rocky. The Robusto is 5.5 inches long with a 50 ring gauge, making it an excellent choice for a medium sized, sweet cigar. It has a unique honey note that layers well with the other flavors of vanilla, coffee, earth, and bread. Each cigar is handcrafted in Rocky’s factory in El Paraiso, Honduras and features a Honduran Corojo wrapper leaf with Honduran binder and filler tobacco.

The name “Number 6” has a simple but significant meaning. In the beginning of the crafting process, cigar makers typically group cured tobacco into sample groups. The goal being to find the very best specific blend. This cigar was batch #6, and was the clear winner.
