Asylum 13 Cool Brew Toro is the newest collaboration by Tom Lazuka and Christian Eiroa from CLE. Made with an innovative flavor-infusion method, these cigars have rich flavors of coffee and mint. This edgy cigar was launched at the 2023 PCA show as an extension to Asylum Cigars. Asylum Cool Brew offers a unique and bold blend, incorporating exotic tobaccos just like its predecessor, the Asylum 867. With all components originating from the Eiroa family farm, these are true Honduran puros. They’re even hand-rolled in Honduras at the El Aladino factory.

The key words when describing this line are “aromatic flavors” because you tend to taste what you smell. This line has a medium body profile and is completely out of the ordinary. Creator Tom Lazuka was quoted saying “The rebellious personality of the Asylum brand allows us to create blends for those looking for something different. The Cool Brew opens a brand-new segment for us. The whole idea is to have fun and do different things with the Asylum brand.” That must be where they got the brand name from- trying out some crazy ideas!
