Asylum 13 Medulla Natural 5×50 are premium handcrafted cigars that showcase the expertise of the Asylum brand. These cigars are true Honduran puros – the wrapper, binder, and filler are grown in Jamastran Valley Honduras, on co-founder Christian Eiroa’s farm. To further the 100% Honduran nature of these cigars, each one is rolled by hand at the El Aladino factory in Honduras. This line is among the brand’s most ambitious and considered a huge success.
These cigars feature an authentic, smooth and oily Corojo wrapper with little to no veins. They are medium to full bodied with flavors of creamy leather, espresso, and cocoa. Each cigar has a subtle spice on the retrohale and a sweet finish. This series was initially offered in boxes containing both the round Medulla and box-pressed Oblongata vitolas. Now, each shape is now sold separately to cater to individual desires.
