-Eiroa Dark 550

Eiroa Dark 550 cigars, crafted at the Aladino factory in Danli, Honduras, were released in May 2019. These Honduran puros are made entirely from 100% authentic Corojo tobacco grown on the Eiroa family farm.

These Dark 550 cigars derive their name from the exceptionally dark Corojo wrapper. This wrapper is available in limited quantities, enhancing its allure. The Dark series marks a return to Christian Eiroa’s roots in producing full-bodied, flavor-rich cigars.

These 550 cigars are bold, featuring a syrupy sweetness and noticeable hints of spice. These cigars offer a complex flavor profile with notes of pepper, chocolate, black cherry, leather, and cream. The filler and binder are composed of authentic Honduran Corojo. The tobaccos used include ligero, the strongest leaves from the top of the plant, and seco, the mildest grade of filler tobacco, both aged for a minimum of four years.

This series, like others from CLE, is packaged in a lift-top box with a leather ribbon. This design pays tribute to Christian Eiroa’s grandfather, who kept his cigar cache in a trunk at the foot of his bed.

Eiroa Dark 550 cigars are 5 x 50 and come in boxes of 20 for $259.95. These are a prized addition to any humidor, celebrated for their rich and robust character.
