This cigar is part of Asylum’s first flavor-infused line, the 867 series, which employs a unique post-rolling process to enhance its flavor profile. During production, the cigars undergo a steeping process of either being stored in a closed environment to absorb aromas or being submerged in a flavored liquid. This process results in a bold and flavorful smoke.

Originally, this series was a collaborative effort between CLE and Deadwood Tobacco Company, released as the “Chasing the Dragon” series. Now rebranded under Asylum, the line includes the Midnight Oil, Auntie, and Zero variants. Fret not, these cigars still use the same blends and flavors as the original Deadwood version.

The Asylum 867 Midnight Oil The 60 is a Honduran puro that features a dark Maduro wrapper. Each cigar is handrolled at the CLE factory in Honduras and has a medium body. Cigar enthusiasts have noted that you will immediately recognize the sweetened cap and more pronounced flavors. Some of these flavors include tea, earth, some pepper, and sweetness. The result is a peach sweet tea tasting cigar!
